Frequently asked questions
Family travel is one of our dearest specialties. We've planned everything from spring break trips for families with young children to cruises for 16 family members ranging from age 8 to 80. We know how to balance what each generation needs so the trip works for everyone, not just the easiest voice to please.
It starts by understanding every traveler in the group. Grandparents who want slow mornings. Teenagers who need to be engaged in a particular manner. Parents somewhere in the middle trying to hold it all together. We build itineraries with parallel options so every generation has something to call their own, and shared moments that bring everyone back together.
Yes, and we genuinely enjoy it. Traveling with young kids requires different planning. We consider room layouts with the right sleeping configurations, itineraries built around nap schedules, destinations and resorts that genuinely welcome young families, and excursions that work for little legs and short attention spans. The goal is a real vacation for the parents, not a survival exercise.
By finding the thing that converts them early. Teenagers have a low threshold for boredom and a high need for something worth their attention. We build in adventure-forward experiences, surfing, ziplining, kayaking, snorkeling, and activities they can own with some independence. A teenager who's genuinely bought in to the trip is worth ten adults who are just tolerating it.
Absolutely. Large group travel is one of our strengths. We coordinate accommodations that fit everyone comfortably, manage the logistics so no single person carries the weight of the planning, and build an itinerary flexible enough to let different parts of the group do their own thing while still coming together for the moments that matter.
It depends on the family. Beach destinations with calm water and resort amenities work well for mixed age groups. National parks like Zion are wonderful for active families who want to explore together. Caribbean cruises are a strong choice for multi-generational groups because everyone finds something for themselves on board and at each port. By understanding everyone's needs and wishes, we can find a destination that fits just right.
