Family Spring Break
Zion National Park
When a family came to us on short notice looking for an epic spring break, we got to work. We researched age-appropriate activities, arranged their rental car for the drive into the desert, secured reservations for guided excursions and secured a stay at Under Canvas Zion, a glamping resort nestled among sandstone cliffs and wide-open Southwest skies. This wasn't tent-camping. This was luxurious furnished tents with hardwood floors, real beds, and ensuite bathrooms make sleeping under the stars feel like anything but roughing it.
From there, the adventure only grew. The family tore through Coral Pink Sand Dunes on a guided UTV ride before trying their hand at sandboarding. They explored the otherworldly Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon with an expert guide who brought millions of years of geology to life. They finished on horseback, taking in Zion from heights that made every prior view feel like a warmup. Short notice. Big memories.

A Skier's Paradise
Val d'Isère, France
Some trips call for something extraordinary. For one family of experienced skiers, we designed a luxury Alpine escape that they're still talking about. After a comfortable ride from the airport with the private chauffeur to Val d'Isère, an in-house chef prepared a dinner that set the tone for everything that followed.
Four days of skiing across the legendary Tignes and Val d'Isère terrain gave the family the mountain experience they'd been dreaming of. At the end of the week, they were already talking about where Sunshine & Travel could send them to ski next year.

A Cruise for a Family of 16: Royal Caribbean, Harmony of the Seas
Sixteen family members. Four generations. One ship. When this family decided to travel together, they needed someone who could handle all the pieces (and all the people!) without dropping any of them. We booked their sailing aboard Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas out of Galveston, Texas and built a shore excursion itinerary that gave every generation something to love.
In Roatán, Honduras, the family spent the morning getting up close with monkeys and sloths before snorkeling in the crystal-clear water right off the beach. In Costa Maya, they explored the ancient Chacchoben Mayan Ruins and sat down together for a Mexican lunch on the coast. In Cozumel, they took part in the Amazing Cozumel Race, a friendly competition that had the whole group laughing, getting lost, and loving every minute. Ages eight to eighty, and not a single person sat one out.

When a non-profit radio station wanted to offer their listeners a fundraising grand prize that felt genuinely extraordinary, they came to us. We designed an eight-day journey through the Tuscany region of Italy by rail, built around local cuisine, regional culture, and the kind of slow, savored travel that makes Italy feel like it was made for you.
Rolling vineyards, hilltop villages, handmade pasta in places that don't show up in travel guides, and the particular magic of arriving somewhere beautiful by train with nowhere to be but present. For the lucky winner, it wasn't just a trip. It was the kind of experience that quietly changes how you think about travel.
